Absence....

So Long, Farewell......

It seemed easier singing along to the song in "Sound of Music". In real life, these goodbyes don't seem to be as easy.

Saying Farewell has been my primetime activity as of late. I don't like good-byes. Sometimes it seems less potent when it is just a "see you later" and not a "forever goodbye." But I can't help but be reminded of how quickly life flies by as my third year in Mexico has come to a close.

International teaching is fun and adventurous and though I can't see myself anywhere but here, the goodbyes seem to be as routine as my morning cup of coffee. I guess that's the nature of the beast.

We are all here for the experience and often don't stay in one place for too long.
